Paramount Sleep Partners with Rochambeau Roadside Inn to Provide Locally Sourced Mattresses

Paramount Sleep Company has announced a new partnership with Rochambeau Roadside Inn in Williamsburg, Virginia, to supply luxury mattresses for the inn's 22 rooms. The partnership introduces guests to a "resort sleep" experience with mattresses designed specifically for the boutique property.

Rochambeau Roadside Inn will feature two distinct Paramount mattress styles in its rooms, both under the private label "Rochambed." The mattresses are crafted with cotton sourced from Virginia, underscoring the companies' shared commitment to local sourcing. This collaboration highlights Paramount’s capability to tailor products for high-end hospitality partners.

Both companies, family-owned and Virginia-based, align in their goals to support local suppliers. Paramount Sleep uses traceable Virginia-sourced cotton from Suffolk through partnerships with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and a local gin mill. This focus on local resources reflects Paramount’s heritage of craftsmanship, which dates back over four generations.

“We were seeking a mattress manufacturer that operated at our high standards with natural and locally sourced products,” said Lyle Schiavone, owner of Rochambeau Roadside Inn. “If we fail our guests in their sleep experience, we shouldn’t even be in business. A well-rested guest will be a repeat guest!”

Schiavone, who tested several Paramount mattresses before finalizing the selection, chose two styles to differentiate the sleep experience between the inn’s suites and standard rooms. The inn will also offer guests the opportunity to purchase the Rochambed mattresses, with promotional support through co-branded digital and video assets.
