Symphony Sleep Introduced ESHILO Adjustable Base Accessory Kit to Support Underserved Consumers

Furniture World News Desk on 11/11/2024

Symphony Sleep announced the launch of its ESHILO adjustable base accessory kit, designed to help furniture and mattress retailers address the needs of diverse consumers, particularly those aging in place or managing conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, autism, and vertigo.

According to the company, ESHILO was developed to enhance the sleep experience and support in-home care for millions of people. “Symphony Sleep offers an unprecedented opportunity for retailers to become a complete solution provider, and the ESHILO represents a significant opportunity for retailers to expand their market reach, addressing the growing demand for adaptive sleep solutions across multiple demographics,” said Symphony Sleep spokesperson Schulte.

Symphony Sleep stated that its lineup of adjustable bases and accessories was designed to help retailers “future-proof” their offerings in the adjustable base market, with products that adapt to life changes and special needs.

Addressing Aging in Place

As the U.S. Census Bureau projects the 65-and-older population to reach 80.8 million by 2040, Symphony Sleep noted that the aging-in-place market is expected to reach $2 trillion by 2032. The ESHILO kit, designed to provide residential comfort with medical functionality, enables retailers to meet the growing demand from consumers prioritizing sleep quality for overall health.

Support for Autism Spectrum

Research shows that up to 80% of children on the autism spectrum experience sleep difficulties. The ESHILO’s customizable positioning options are intended to create optimal sleep settings, potentially benefiting sleep quality and overall well-being.

Solutions for Parkinson’s Disease

The ESHILO was also designed with features to assist people living with Parkinson’s Disease by providing adaptable sleep positions that ease mobility challenges and discomfort. The product’s design helps with safe entry and exit from the bed, benefiting both users and caregivers.

Specialized Care Options

The ESHILO also supports people with vertigo by offering elevation options, as well as various positions aimed at enhancing circulation and respiratory health.

In a recent partnership, Symphony Sleep collaborated with Make-A-Wish® to donate and install an adjustable base with the ESHILO accessory kit for a young girl with special needs. The bed’s customizable positions have contributed to improved sleep quality for the child while assisting her caregivers by making daily support safer and easier.

Product Features

The ESHILO’s advanced features include a German-engineered height adjustment system (from 10 inches to 31.5 inches), precision tilting capabilities for both Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positions, a quick-connect frame installation system, and an ergonomic wired remote for precise control. Compatible with all Symphony Sleep adjustable bases, the ESHILO is available in Twin XL and Queen sizes.

“The ESHILO exemplifies our commitment to holistic design and precision German engineering,” said Schulte. “Every detail has been carefully considered to enhance the quality of life for both users and their caregivers, while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of residential furniture.”
