BEDGEAR has announced the opening of its new manufacturing and distribution facility, “The
Peak,” in Salt Lake City, Utah. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to improve delivery times, enhance
operational efficiency, and support customers in the Western United States and Canada.
The grand opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by BEDGEAR Founder and CEO Eugene Alletto, Utah
Governor Spencer Cox, Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall, and members of The Salt Lake Chamber. Local business
leaders, BEDGEAR executives, and employees also participated in the event, which highlighted the company’s
operations and sustainability initiatives.
"We are thrilled to announce our relocation to Salt Lake City, a vibrant hub that embodies the active lifestyle we
champion at BEDGEAR,” said Alletto. “This move not only aligns with our mission to enhance recovery
through proper sleep but also positions us within a community that shares our values and passion for health,
wellness, and the great outdoors."
Governor Cox spoke about the company’s alignment with Utah’s values during the ceremony. “They
espouse the values of Utah that are so important: values of sustainability, service, and giving back,” he
said. “We’re excited for what BEDGEAR brings to us to make our community a better place, and we hope
that Utah will make you an even better company as well.”
Mayor Mendenhall added, “You have a very unique ethic that is not only needed in the business community but in
the world—and especially here. We prioritize building families, building wellness, and building community, and
that is why BEDGEAR has been a Utah company all along. We know you’re going to fit in here and we welcome you
with open arms.”
Facility Overview and Operational Impact
“The Peak” will serve as a pivotal hub in BEDGEAR’s distribution network, enabling faster delivery
times of one to four days for western states and Canada. The facility features advanced machinery that enhances
production capabilities and supports the company’s direct-to-consumer fulfillment, which has already begun. A
full product lineup and expanded fulfillment operations are planned by 2025.
The move also underscores BEDGEAR’s commitment to sustainability, with the facility incorporating measures to
reduce environmental impact while meeting growing customer demand.
Community Engagement and Giving Back
To celebrate the opening, BEDGEAR partnered with Ticket to Dream to support children in need through Utah Foster
Care. The company donated bedding items, including mattress protectors, pillows, and sheet sets, as well as infant
care kits containing essential supplies.
This initiative reflects BEDGEAR’s ongoing dedication to giving back to the communities it serves.
Looking Ahead
With “The Peak” now operational, BEDGEAR is set to advance its goals of improving customer experience
and expanding its footprint in the sleep solutions market. The facility represents a significant step in the
company’s long-term strategy to innovate and grow its production capabilities.
