The Lovesac Company, a home furnishing brand known for its Sactionals, has published its ESG & Impact Report for the fiscal year ending February 4, 2024. The report outlines the company’s ongoing efforts to advance its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives through its strategic framework guided by the principles of Earth, Love, and Purpose.

The ESG framework integrates the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Building Products and Furnishings and Multiline and Specialty Retailers & Distributors standards, along with inspiration from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The 2024 report reflects Lovesac’s progress toward long-term goals.

Key ESG Highlights

  • Earth: Lovesac has committed to repurposing 1 billion plastic bottles in its product fabrics and materials, supported by its partnership with REPREVE®. As of fiscal year-end 2024, more than 240 million bottles have been repurposed.
  • Love: The company continues to prioritize diversity and inclusion, with 48% of leadership roles held by women in fiscal 2024.
  • Purpose: Lovesac expanded its Sustainable Supply Chain program to include new transportation and warehousing vendors. The program focuses on enduring quality and high-performance standards for supplier partnerships.

Additionally, Lovesac’s report emphasizes the company’s goal to achieve net-zero waste and emissions by 2040. The Designed For Life principles, which prioritize innovation and sustainability, guide the company’s development of durable product platforms across multiple home furnishing categories.

This marks Lovesac’s fourth annual ESG report, reinforcing its commitment to customers, employees, communities, suppliers, and stakeholders. The company will continue to update and share progress on its ESG goals through future reports.
