Bellini Modern Living, a distributor of modern Italian furniture, has expanded its made-in-Italy ceramic table
program. The additions include seven new extension table designs and the introduction of stationary tables in three
sizes, catering to consumers with smaller dining spaces. The program’s mix-and-match format allows retailers
to maximize dollars-per-square-foot in their dining departments.
“Our goal has always been to enable dealers to sell dozens of dining options in the smallest footprint possible
in order to maximize return on investment,” said Hossein Azimi, CEO of Bellini Modern Living. “Simply by
showing one floor sample, retailers are able to offer their customers a choice of seven different Italian ceramic
tables in high-fashion colors and patterns with a choice of five different sculptural bases to create their
customer’s ideal table.”
New Table Features
The new extension table designs—Isabella, Azzurra, Origami, Genoa-2, Ferraro-2, and Bridge—incorporate
Bellini’s extension mechanism, which stores extra leaves beneath the tabletop. The mechanism lifts the leaves
into place with a simple lever pull, allowing the tables to extend seamlessly. The ceramic tops are cut from large
Italian ceramic slabs, ensuring pattern continuity when extended.
In addition, Bellini has streamlined the assembly process by pre-attaching extension mechanisms to table bases prior
to shipping. This adjustment minimizes in-home assembly time for retailers, as the base and tabletop simply need to
be joined.
Stationary Table Options
For the first time, the ceramic tabletops are available as stationary tables in 79-, 87-, and 95-inch lengths. The
stationary options include new bow-shaped tops, which provide a gentle curve to the design. Extension tables can
open to 118 inches when fully extended.
New Ceramic Finishes
The expanded program includes four new ceramic finishes: Onice Beige, Patagonia, Calacatta Gold, and Calacatta Black,
as well as additional options like Onice Nero Lucidato, Silver Root, and Onice Avorio Lucidato. Customers can
visualize their ideal table configurations with Bellini’s configuration charts.

cream-colored bow-shaped ceramic top with grey veining.
-

Growing Program
The ceramic table program also includes coordinating sideboards and multiple dining chair options. Azimi emphasized
the consumer appeal of ceramic dining tables, noting their combination of style and practicality: “Consumers
gravitate toward ceramic dining made in Italy because they are not only stylish but easy to live with thanks to
ceramic’s stain-resistant, easy-care properties. Retailers love the program because they are able to give
customers the personalized look they crave with a minimal investment of floor space.”
The expanded collection will continue to grow with additional options in the coming months.
