Former Sherwin-Williams, Natuzzi Marketer Joins Steinreich Communications

Steinreich Communications Group, Inc., an international public relations firm, has appointed Lauren West a director. A well-regarded industry executive, West is best known for her 15 years at Natuzzi, where she was head of communications and public relations. She will work in the firm’s home furnishings industry group led by Senior Vice President Kimberley Wray. 

Lauren has a long list of accomplishments over a three-decade career with leading home furnishings brands. She most recently was director of marketing for the DesignHouse division of Sherwin-Williams Industrial Wood business. She handled relations with designers and created strategies and programs to increase business in the residential, contract and hospitality sectors. Prior to this role, she was at Natuzzi America as director of communications and public relations. She also had responsibilities for education and development, and merchandising and design during her time with the company. Earlier in her career, she was marketing manager for the Spring Air licensee in North Carolina.

“Lauren brings to our clients not only terrific public relations experience, but because she has done so many other things –training and education, merchandising and design, she can really be a very comprehensive counsellor to our clients, helping them far beyond press releases,” said Wray. “She has worked with so many leading brands in our industry that she brings an exciting best practices portfolio to our organization that will have an amazing impact on our clients.”

West is a graduate of Radford University, in Virginia. She has held a number of board positions as well, including being an Advisory Board Member of the Department of Interior Architecture at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, a board member of the well-regarded American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD), and executive board member and vice president of the International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD). She received the WOW Education Award from WithIt, the women’s leadership development network.

She resides in Jamestown, North Carolina.
