Darvin Furniture & Mattress Celebrates Grand Opening of The Marketplace at Darvin

Darvin Furniture & Mattress marked the grand opening of The Marketplace at Darvin on Friday, January 10, introducing a new showroom concept at its Orland Park location (15400 La Grange Rd.). The multi-million-dollar project expands the shopping experience with a curated selection of furniture, home décor, and designer accessories.

The Marketplace at Darvin was a multi-million-dollar project to offer a curated destination showcasing the very latest furniture trends alongside stylish designer accessories," said Will Harris, President of Darvin Furniture & Mattress. "Whether you're seeking inspiration for your home or that perfect finishing touch, The Marketplace offers something special for every taste."

A Curated Shopping Experience

The Marketplace at Darvin features a range of home accessories, including:

  • Decor & Accents – Vases, candles, clocks, bookends, baskets, and more
  • Seasonal & Kitchen Items – Holiday décor, tea towels, and specialty kitchen accessories
  • Furniture & Storage – Wine racks, bookcases, and accent pieces to complement home designs
  • Textiles – Bedding, pillows, throws, and area rugs

The collection will be regularly updated based on emerging design trends.

Grand Opening Celebration

Darvin Furniture & Mattress President Will Harris, along with Steve and Marty Darvin, welcomed over 100 VIP guests to the event, where attendees explored The Marketplace’s product offerings. The evening featured catering by Polonia Catering, a DJ, a Nitro Ice Cream station, and cocktails.

Harris also introduced Mr. Darvin’s Coffee Shop, an in-store café adjacent to The Marketplace, offering customers a place to relax while shopping.
