Whittier Wood Furniture Names Erik Chapman as National Sales Manager

Whittier Wood Furniture has appointed Erik Chapman as its new National Sales Manager, effective November 18, 2024. Chapman brings over 20 years of experience in sales, strategic planning, and operations, having worked in consumer packaged goods and business management.

For the past seven years, Chapman has been based in Eugene, Oregon, where he served as a COO, overseeing operations, sales, marketing, and ERP system upgrades. While new to the furniture industry, he has been working closely with the Whittier Wood Furniture team and traveling to industry markets to meet with retailers and sales representatives.

Evert Slijper, the company’s current EVP of Sales & Marketing, will retire in April and transition to Chairman of the Board. His experience will continue to guide the company as Chapman steps into his new role.
