HPMA Releases Spring Market Event Schedule at The Point

The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) announces its Spring Market programming and events scheduled for HPMA’s branded pop-up venue The Point, open daily from Friday, Apr. 25 to Tuesday, Apr. 29.

The Point provides free educational and networking opportunities for registered High Point Market attendees. Events include:

FRIDAY, APRIL 25

  • Market 101 Live! Panel discussion on how to work Market like a pro, with Leslie Newby of WorkTheBrand PR and DESiGN iNKREDiBLE’s Don Ricardo Massenburg.

SATURDAY, APRIL 26

  • Speed Dating with Experts: Finding Your Ideal Business Pros for Success Panel discussion with Gail Doby, co-founder of Pearl Collective, Ken Lewis of Johnny Davis Digital Solutions, Ken Roberts of Interior Talent and Dawn Brinson, CEO of A New Day Creative Communications and Marketing.

  • Crafting Success: The Designer’s Guide to Decorative Lighting Discussion with Lisa McDennon of Lisa McDennon Design, Tamara Day, host of Magnolia Network’s Bargain Mansions, and Breegan Jane, host of HGTV’s Dream Home. Moderated by Rick Campos, host of the Design Biz Survival Guide podcast. Brought to you by Hinkley.

SUNDAY, APRIL 27

  • Get the YES and Strengthen Your Design Practice with Neuroaesthetics Science-backed insights on how to land clients with Eryn Oruncak of Elan Design, Jennifer Farrell of Jennifer Farrell Designs and Ericka Saurit of Saurit Creative.

  • Marketing Your Design Business in the Age of Algorithms Panel with Tina Ramchandani of Tina Ramchandani Creative, Rasheeda Gray of Gray Space Interiors, Ericka Saurit of Saurit Creative, Jennifer Smiga, CEO of Ultraviolet Agency, and Alyssa Zimerman of A to Z Design Consulting.

MONDAY, APRIL 28

  • Hands-on Workshop: Calculate Your Monthly Goals and Design Process Roadmap

Finance strategy discussion to achieve sales goals, led by DuVäl Reynolds of DuVäl Design.

  • Emerging Trends in Kitchen and Bath Design Heather Shannon, SVP of marketing and communications for the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), explores trends in kitchen and bath design with leading experts in the industry.

TUESDAY, APRIL 29

  • Textile Trends Unveiled: Fall/Winter 25/26 Discussion on the future of textiles with Jaye Mize, SVP of advisory and partnerships at Fashion Snoopers, and Carrie Dillon, managing director of the International Textile Alliance.

Additionally, HPMA HOT SPOT TOURS will initiate at The Point from Saturday through Monday of Market, at 9:30 am and 1pm. A link to RSVP for each event will follow. All event times and details are posted on the High Point Market website.

Located one block west of the Transportation Terminal on Commerce Ave, The Point is open to registered High Point Market buyers on Fri., Apr. 25 through Tues., Apr. 29 from 8am to 8pm. Panel discussions are scheduled at 10 am and 2pm. The Point closes at 12pm on Tues., April 29.

In addition to the HPMA-organized programming, The Point also serves as a daily lounge and eatery. The location includes a guest services center with Market Advisors to assist with trade show information, including navigation, event suggestions and help planning showroom visits.

Food vendor The Blooming Board will offer a daily assortment of fresh salads, sandwiches and charcuterie, Apr. 25-29, 11am to 2pm.
