Spectra Home Launches Great Accent Chair Challenge at High Point Market

Furniture World News Desk on 4/14/2025

Spectra Home invites High Point Market attendees to participate in the Great Accent Chair Challenge by voting for their favorite accent chair at the Spectra Home Showroom (200 N Hamilton, #213). For every entry submitted, Spectra Home will donate to The Common Thread for The Cure Foundation, which provides financial assistance to individuals in the home furnishings industry affected by breast cancer.

Participants can test three of Spectra Home’s top-selling accent chairs before casting their vote:

  • Meyer – Tamara Day by Spectra Home
  • Leo – Tamara Day by Spectra Home
  • Walker – Spectra Home

“I know which is my favorite, and I can’t wait to see if it is the winner,” said Jim Telleysh, president of Spectra Home. “We were honored to be named the top upholstery and accent chair supplier in the Home Accents Today Reader Rankings Awards. To show our appreciation, we are donating to The Common Thread for The Cure Foundation for every accent chair entry received in the Great Accent Chair Challenge. Come try out the chairs and cast your vote for a good cause.”

Telleysh emphasized the company’s continued support for the foundation. “So many of us have friends and family members who have had to deal with breast cancer and the financial stress it causes. To help more, we are also donating a portion of the proceeds from the Tamara Day by Spectra Home collection to the foundation. We hope that our support will ease the burden that families are experiencing.”

The Common Thread for The Cure Foundation provides confidential grants to individuals in the home furnishings and design industry facing breast cancer. These grants assist with financial obligations, household needs, and transportation to medical appointments.
