CIFF Guangzhou Phase 2 to Highlight Commercial and Office Innovations

Furniture World News Desk on 3/26/2025

The second phase of the 55th China International Furniture Fair (CIFF Guangzhou 2025) will take place March 28–31 at the Canton Fair Complex and PWTC EXPO in Guangzhou Pazhou, China. This phase will focus on office and commercial furniture, as well as furniture production technologies, under the banner “Powered by Design.”

Following the completion of Phase 1, which featured home furniture and décor, CIFF’s Phase 2 will feature the Office and Commercial Space Exhibition and CIFM/Interzum Guangzhou, bringing together over 4,700 brands across 90 halls and 850,000 square meters of exhibition space.

Office and Commercial Space: A Dedicated Platform for Workspace Design

More than 1,000 exhibitors will present products across 24 halls with an emphasis on sustainability and design-driven office solutions. Notable participants include Sunon, CJF, Tiantan, Merryfair, FURSYS, DAWON, and Bestuhl.

The Trendy Design Hall (5.2) will feature the Office Environment Theme Pavilion alongside the Linking Design Star Exhibition, showcasing emerging workplace concepts. It will also host the China Meets Europe: Designing Opportunities Summit & Forum, a joint initiative by CIFF and Edimotion. The forum brings together European interior design associations, Chinese institutions, academics, and designers to explore collaborative opportunities across markets.

Adjacent to this, the International Brands Hall (20.2) will house the D&A Culture Center, examining evolving philosophies of commercial space design.

A new feature, the CIFF Luminous Path, will offer an immersive experience exploring sustainable commercial interiors. Developed in collaboration with more than ten industry brands, the curated exhibit will highlight low-carbon design approaches and eco-conscious product solutions.

CIFM/Interzum Guangzhou: Furniture Production and Innovation

Held concurrently, CIFM/Interzum Guangzhou will cover 170,000 square meters and spotlight the full furniture manufacturing chain—from raw materials to machinery. Nearly 300 international companies will participate, reflecting a 5% increase in overseas presence.

Manufacturers including Opk, Homag, and Biesse will exhibit alongside thematic showcases such as the Design Original Hall (16.3) and CMF Trends Lab_2025. The CIFF Luminous Path will also extend into this segment under the theme Future Forward, featuring creative installations that explore the future of productivity in manufacturing.

Global Trade and Buyer Engagement

CIFF Guangzhou expects to welcome 380,000 attendees from over 200 countries. The show continues to invest in international trade facilitation through the CIFF Interbiz Club, offering services like IBC Matching, IBC Media, and IBC Manager. Domestically, platforms such as the Designer Community and Elite Community support collaboration between design institutions and retailers.

With a global media network spanning 1,100 outlets, CIFF continues to connect Chinese furniture enterprises with international markets.
