Hooker Furnishings will introduce a range of new home office products at the April High Point Market, including its new Formation Modular Home Office Collection and office pieces integrated into several whole home lines. The introductions reflect ongoing demand for flexible, functional work-from-home solutions that adapt to various living environments.
“As remote and hybrid work continue to evolve, so does the need for thoughtfully designed home office furniture,” said Jon Witteveen, VP of Product Development at Hooker Furnishings. “With Formation, we wanted to create a fully modular, highly functional collection that adapts to a variety of workspaces—whether it's a dedicated office or part of a larger living area. The ability to customize layouts, combined with premium materials and storage solutions, makes this a standout offering in the market.”
The Formation Collection includes 15 pieces such as bookcases, desks, file storage, and work surfaces. Configurations are available in multiple sizes, including 64-inch and 72-inch desktops, and a 90-inch work surface that can be paired with storage units to create a kneehole credenza. Fully finished backs enable freestanding or open-concept layouts. Storage components include partitioned drawers, pencil trays, locking file cabinets, and pullout printer compartments.
Formation is offered in two finishes—Sandstone, a lighter tone, and Briar, a dark wood finish—accented with bar-pull hardware in a champagne metallic tone.
Additional Home Office Introductions:
-
Driftwood Collection – A new whole home line that includes an executive desk and a writing desk, featuring quarter-sawn oak veneers, honed travertine details, and hand-waxed finishes. The collection is available in three finishes: Buckboard, Worn Saddle, and Burnt Timber.
-
Eleana Collection – This collection includes a writing desk and multifunctional storage/display pieces. With split-heart and quartered walnut veneers, Eleana blends open shelving with closed storage, designed to support integration into home offices or living spaces.
-
Commerce & Market and Mélange – Both collections expand this Market with the addition of writing desks. These introductions support Hooker Furnishings’ broader strategy of offering whole-home solutions with coordinated accent and work pieces.
“We’ve been a trusted home office resource for decades, and 2025 marks one of our biggest commitments yet to this category,” said Jeff Behmer, EVP of Merchandising for Hooker Casegoods. “The depth of our offerings—from modular setups like Formation to statement desks in Commerce & Market and Mélange—ensures that we have a solution for every workspace, whether it’s a fully outfitted home office or a stylish desk in a shared space.”
All new home office products will be featured in the Hooker Furnishings showroom on the third floor of Showplace during the April High Point Market.
