The Board of Directors of the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation Inc. has elected new officers and
board members for 2025.
Satya Tiwari, president, Surya Inc., has been elected Board president; Jeremy Hoff,
CEO, Hooker Furnishings Corporation, first vice president; Gat Caperton, CEO, Caperton
Furnitureworks LLC, second vice president; Greg Avitabile, executive vice president/COO,
ANDMORE, secretary-treasurer. Karen McNeill, CEO, American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame
Foundation, will continue to serve on the executive committee as Board chairman.
“Our permanent home for the Hall of Fame is not just a space; it is a testament to the vision and ingenuity
that define our industry. Here, we gather to learn from some of the most thoughtful and visionary leaders, exploring
innovative executions and fostering connections that inspire progress,” says Tiwari. “While we remain in
the midst of economic challenges, Board is focused on a bright light ahead—a future filled with opportunities
for growth and innovation. Now is the time to move forward with courage and determination, honoring the legacy of
those who came before us while shaping the path for future leaders.”
New directors are Greg Avitabile, executive vice president/COO, ANDMORE; Mark
Feng, chairman, Markor International Home Furnishings; David Koehler, president, AICO;
John Schulz, CEO, John V. Schultz Furniture/Levin Furniture; and Richard Weeks,
vice president of global sales for the Home Furniture Group, Leggett & Platt.
Board members re-elected to another three-year term are Derick Close, CEO, Springs Creative;
Tammy Covington, president and CEO, High Point Market Authority; Amir Loloi,
founder and president, Loloi Rugs; Satya Tiwari, president, Surya Inc.; and Laurie
Tokarz, president, Restonic.
