Sleep On Green to Showcase Customizable Dolce Vita Mattress at High Point Market

Artisan mattress maker Sleep On Green will return to High Point Market this spring, presenting its Dolce Vita mattress at the Gamma showroom within Casa Italia, located at 130 W Commerce Ave. Known for its handcrafted approach and use of natural materials, the brand continues to draw from its heritage in Italian furniture-making.

“Each side of the mattress can be adjusted for firmness at any time — no mechanical parts required,” said founders Fidenzio and Grazia Bizzotto. “By simply rearranging the internal layers of natural materials, couples or individuals with changing sleep needs can tailor their comfort with ease.”

The Dolce Vita mattress offers adjustability through repositionable layers made from cashmere, Merino wool, and TENCEL™ fiber. All Sleep On Green mattresses also incorporate cotton Cotone Ritorto, Talalay latex, and the company’s proprietary Coconut coir — a plant-based alternative to metal springs.

Sleep On Green was founded after the Bizzottos' son was injured in a motorcycle accident in 2007. In their search for a supportive, comfortable sleep solution, they encountered concerns about chemical use in traditional mattresses, which led them to create a line of eco-conscious bedding. Drawing on their experience in fine furniture design, they partnered with skilled artisans to develop mattresses focused on comfort and wellness.

The company will also preview new mattress models featuring three distinct patterns, as well as a quilted topper made from Purae Wool, a high-quality Italian wool. The brand’s textile line includes mulberry silk and organic cotton sateen sheets, designed to complement its mattresses. All products can be made to order in custom sizes.
