IKEA U.S. Expands in Arizona with Two New Phoenix-Area Formats

IKEA U.S. has announced two new store formats in the Phoenix Metro Area as part of its ongoing expansion strategy. The IKEA Scottsdale Plan & order point with Pick-up officially opened today at The Promenade, and a new IKEA Phoenix small-format store is scheduled to open in early 2026.

“We are thrilled to offer Phoenix Metro Area residents more ways to shop and experience IKEA,” said Javier Quiñones, CEO & Chief Sustainability Officer, IKEA U.S. “These new locations highlight our commitment to bring IKEA closer to the many people and make it easier and more affordable to access our home furnishing products and solutions.”

IKEA Phoenix will span approximately 75,000 square feet and offer about 3,000 home furnishing items for immediate takeaway, primarily consisting of accessories and small furniture. Larger items, including sofas and beds, will be available to order online, with options for pickup or home delivery. The store will include fully furnished room settings tailored to the local market, an “As-is” department offering discounted merchandise, and a Swedish Deli featuring IKEA food favorites. The store will be located at 4643 E. Cactus Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85032, in the Village Square II shopping center.

The new Scottsdale Plan & order point offers personalized design services for projects such as kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. While products are not available for same-day pickup, co-workers can assist with ordering and schedule pickup at the onsite location or coordinate delivery. Online shoppers can also select IKEA Scottsdale at The Promenade as a pickup point when placing orders through IKEA-USA.com.

These additions are part of IKEA U.S.’s broader investment in enhancing its customer experience, which includes expanding its network of store formats, improving e-commerce services, and offering delivery and assembly through TaskRabbit.
