HH2 Home, the U.S.-based case goods division of Green River Group, is relocating its distribution center from Louisville, Kentucky to a 500,000+ square-foot facility in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. The warehouse, previously operated by Benchcraft, will serve as the company’s new hub for product storage and distribution.
The move is intended to improve logistics efficiency and support ongoing expansion. “This facility is located in a high-traffic furniture area near established freight and trucking routes just outside Memphis. With this ideal location, we will develop the campus as an East Coast distribution facility for all of our related companies, creating scale and further operational efficiencies,” said Lee Boone, chief executive of the U.S.-based furniture businesses recently acquired by Green River Group.
Boone noted that HH2 Home plans to begin shipping from the new location this month. The Blue Mountain facility, originally designed for furniture operations, will streamline the handling of goods and reduce the risk of damage during transport. “It is ideally suited for our product lines, enabling the company to receive, store and ship goods easier, faster and with less opportunity for damage,” Boone added.
The larger warehouse also aligns with the company’s long-term growth plans. “It will accommodate our growth initiatives,” Boone said. “Because of the lower cost base, we will be able to maintain compelling values.”
