Furniture World News Desk on 6/5/2025

The International Home Furnishings Representatives Association (IHFRA) has announced the theme, venue, and honorees for its 29th annual Furniture Industry Awards Gala (FIAG), scheduled for Friday, October 24, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Nido and Mariana Qubein Arena and Conference Center on the campus of High Point University.

The 2025 gala will adopt the theme "Mission Possible," referencing the well-known Mission: Impossible franchise while emphasizing the honorees’ ability to turn industry challenges into opportunities.

“As we considered our honorees, it became clear that each has consistently turned industry challenges into opportunities through bold thinking and creative strategies,” said Ray Allegrezza, IHFRA’s Director of Content and Events.

“Mission Possible felt like the perfect way to celebrate their achievements,” added Steve Allegrezza, IHFRA Executive Director. “Each of this year’s honorees has not only elevated their own organizations but has also contributed meaningfully to the home furnishings industry as a whole, making it more professional, consumer-focused, and future-ready.”

2025 FIAG Honorees Include:

  • Retailer of the Year: Furniture Mart, USA
  • Industry Icon: Mark Phillips, Phillips Collection
  • Pillar of the Industry: Steve Riley, CEO, Riley Consulting Group
  • Distinguished Service Award: Matt Keepers
  • Legacy Award: Ted Weisbach
