The Greater Metropolitan Home Furnishings Association (GMFA) announced that this Saturday, December 7th, Pat Luthy of Suburban Furniture and Mattress will be presented with the 2013 Howard Liveright Memorial Award and Surya’s President, Satya Tiwari will be presented with the Jerry Gans Memorial Award.
Recognition will also be given to GMFA’s Retailer of The Year 2013, Peter & Andrew Orshan of Peter Andrews Furniture, Rep of The Year 2013 to Sal DeMarco of Natuzzi and Best Advertising 2013 to Jeff Horowitz of L&S Advertising.
Retailers, manufacturers, representatives and industry suppliers will gather for this annual event, a festive kick-off to the holiday season.

About The Howard Liveright Award: The award was inaugurated in 1961 for the purpose of perpetuating the memory of Howard Liveright and to provide an opportunity to acknowledge people who have made outstanding contributions to the home furnishings industry.
