  1. takes the time to listen to associates who ask for aid.
     
  2. treats all with similar consideration.
      
  3. is firm but fair to reasonable requests.
     
  4. realizes many attitudes at work are the result of personal problems outside the work place.
      
  5. understands that product and technical knowledge is not enough.
      
  6. acknowledges there is a limit to your ability to solve problems for discontented associates.
