Grand Re-Opening of Indiana Furniture & Mattress

Indiana Furniture & Mattress, recently celebrated at grand re-opening featuring an extensive remodeling and expansion of the store . The new store includes a La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio and the recently opened “Indiana Mattress.”

According to Ashley Miller, president of Indiana Furniture and Mattress, the store at 1807 East Lincolnway in Valparaiso now occupies an additional 3,000 square feet of frontage that was previously occupied by another retailer. “There’s a whole new look to the store,” said Miller. “And there’s a much greater and fresher selection of furniture and mattresses in our showroom.”

Miller says the new La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio alone features 5,000 square feet of space dedicated to the broad selection of La-Z-Boy furniture for the family room and living room, including the company's world famous recliners, motion sofas, sleep sofas, sectionals and leather upholstery.

“La-Z-Boy products have been a customer favorite,” Miller said, “so we are very excited to be displaying a much larger selection of their products on our floor. In fact, we are now carrying some of La-Z-Boy’s ‘Urban Attitudes Collection’ that has clean simple lines and outstanding details.” Miller says the collection is designed to create a modern living space that`s chic and stylish, yet fun and functional.

Miller says La-Z-Boy offers customers numerous customization choices, ranging from hundreds of fabrics and leather selections to welt cord details, platinum or brass nailhead trim, wood colors and accent pillows. “You don’t have to compromise with La-Z-Boy,” said Miller, “you can customize to match your style, decor and tastes.”

The new La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio joins an existing 7,000 square foot Flexsteel Gallery on one side and a newly re-merchandised Designer Gallery on the other, featuring hundreds of customization options from Bernhardt, Simply Amish, Canadel, Smith Brothers and more.

The Grand Re-Opening of the flagship Indiana Furniture & Mattress closely followed the Grand Opening of the 3,000 square foot “Indiana Mattress” store, which occurred in mid-August, and is adjacent to the furniture store. According to Simmons Bedding Company, Indiana Mattress is the largest Beautyrest Gallery in northwest Indiana.
