Organic Mattresses, Inc. (OMI), the  manufacturer of organic mattresses under the OrganicPedic™ brand name, announced it will introduce a new collection of natural beds, Naturals by OMI, at the upcoming Las Vegas Furniture Market, Jan. 18 – 22. Using consumer insights garnered from a variety of research studies, the company designed the nine-SKU line to meet the needs of the fastest-growing segment of the healthy-lifestyle market, consumers looking for natural products that will help them reduce chemicals in their homes. This market segment wants a mattress made from natural materials that will, the company said.

The entire Naturals by OMI mattress collection is packaged in UPS-size cartons, making it easy for retailers to deliver, store in their warehouses and create less damage, compared to traditional bulky and heavy latex mattresses. Although the product is packaged in UPS–size boxes, OMI only sells to brick and mortar retailers – not online-only companies.

The nine models in the Naturals by OMI collection are the Bellezza, a seven-inch mattress, the Affinity, Splendore, and Radiance, all eight-inch mattresses; the Freze, a 10” pillow top; the Damaris and the Mila, 11” pillow tops; and the Arria and the Tahlia, 11” quilted pillow top mattresses. Each mattress is constructed using the highest-quality components, including High Density all-natural, non-blended, petroleum-free latex; an industry-first high-texture, high-gram-weight, three-layer, four-way stretch knitted organic cotton covers; and an industry first super-stretch silica FR barrier specifically designed for latex mattresses. The Arria and the Tahlia 11” pillow tops use organic wool in their quilting for cooler sleep in the summer and warmer sleep in the winter. Handcrafted in the United States, the Naturals by OMI collection will be Greenguard certified and will use Oeko-Tex-certified latex and fabric. Retail pricing for the collection ranges from $2,500-$5,300 in queen. The Naturals by OMI collection features a 20-year warranty. It is supported by new point-of-purchase as well as new messaging, to simplify selling organic and natural mattresses into just two concepts: the air we breathe in all night long, and what our skin absorbs as we dehydrate through the night and our pores enlarge as we sleep.
