Last January, BedMart Mattress Superstore's President Steven Stone entered a drawing at the DORMEO® N.A. showroom. An innovator of bedding solutions, DORMEO held a contest where one lucky retailer would win 800 DORMEO Evolution Pillows.
The contest was designed to help build awareness for the DORMEO brand and its entire line-up of mattresses and pillows. In recognition of the company’s patented eight-sided Octaspring® Technology, DORMEO executives committed 800 pillows made with the revolutionary memory foam spring that combines the benefits of both pressure-relieving visco and a supportive innerspring, without the drawbacks of either.
“Our company is known for its big promotions. Last year we gave away a Range Rover. This past Market we wanted to introduce DORMEO to a new group of retailers,” said DORMEO Chief Executive Officer Jon Stowe. “The 800 pillow drawing was very successful. It drove new customers into our showroom and gave us the opportunity to show them our whole collection.”
“Now our store is filled from floor to ceiling with DORMEO pillows. We have never won a drawing at market so hearing our name called was a pleasant surprise,” said Steven Stone. “Our customers have responded very well to the Octaspring technology and the comfort and support it offers.”
The Octaspring’s unique construction features tri-dimensional flexible movement, a series of air vents and a hole in the center that lets humid air pass through. This design allows air to filter through and away from a mattress or pillow, dissipating heat and humidity and creating a luxurious, dynamic sleep surface that’s noticeably cooler and supportive. Stone said that BedMart will use the pillows to enhance its overall product sales.
