KAS Rugs adds Second Warehouse in Calhoun, GA

KAS Rugs announced the opening of a second warehouse in Calhoun, GA. The new warehouse space adds 120,000 sq.ft, making the company’s total warehouse space 231,000 sq.ft.

"2014 was an exciting and successful year for KAS," says Wendy Reiss, Vice President of Sales and National Accounts. "We underwent an inspirational rebrand of the company for an updated feel and cleaner look."

To go alongside their newly rebranded look, KAS also expanded and remodeled its showrooms in Atlanta, Las Vegas & High Point to make them feel more inviting with an open floor concept. Each space now has a new designated section for their newly launched home décor offerings and designer partnerships. "KAS has worked closely with Bob Mackie Home and Donny Osmond Home to create lifestyle brands that include innovative and quality products," adds Reiss. "Bob Mackie Home currently has a luxurious rug collection in the line and we are all set for another product launch coming up at High Point Market in October. Donny Osmond Home has three successful rug collections and corresponding pillows."

KAS kicked off  2015 with the expansion of its distribution facilities in Calhoun, GA. Adding a 120,000 sqft second warehouse. The adjacent warehouses now total 231,000 sqft. To optimize ease of operation, the two locations are joined by a passageway making it convenient for employees to get from one space to another. The additional warehouse allows KAS to turn around orders quicker than before and maximize warehouse efficiency. 95% of their orders are filled within 24 hours.
