ASFD Announces 20th Annual Pinnacle Award Winners

On Monday evening during the High Point market, the  American Society of Furniture Designers held its 20th Annual Pinnacle Awards Banquet. Furniture industry veteran Jerry Epperson and Bill McLoughlin, Editor-in-Chief at Furniture Today hosted the record-setting crowd.

Guests were greeted by this year’s student design finalists and industry dignitaries, all of whom participated in photo opportunities and interviews. This year marked 20 years of recognizing the industry’s best in design with the Pinnacle Awards. The unique exclusive award was designed by ASFD professional member Mark Tucker. This year the award trophies featured a special laser graphic on the back of each to honor the 20th Anniversary.

“We had 40 percent more entries this year and double the entries in the student category from around the country,” said John Conrad, ASFD Executive Director. “The prestige of this program just continues to grow and that’s exciting for our industry.”
