Sunvilla Launches Paula Deen Home Outdoor Collection

Outdoor furniture manufacturer Sunvilla Corporation reports that it has launched two new full outdoor collections under the Paula Deen Home brand. The Dogwood and River House outdoor collections are sold exclusively through Universal Furniture.

Senior VP, Matt Weiss said, “We spent a significant amount of time working with Paula Deen and the Universal team to understand their Paula Deen Home customer. Universal Furniture has had huge successes with their indoor collections. Mike Farrell, our VP of Design, took inspiration from those indoor pieces and designed two amazing collections that perfectly embody Paula Deen Home and the low country lifestyle.”

“We believe this product is a natural extension of the comfortable, casual, low country lifestyle that is part of the Paula Deen Home” said Universal Furniture President and CEO, Jeff Scheffer. “For our retailer partners this product line represents a way to showcase all of what Paula Deen Home can offer their customers” added Scheffer.

River House is a fully welded aluminum collection with cast details. Featuring a stunning hand antiqued wood grain finish, this collection has two Sunbrella fabric options. Dining and occasional tables feature extruded slat tops and the occasional tables have a woven shelf for added character and storage.

Dogwood is a fully woven collection with a beautiful Driftwood outdoor weave. The collection takes inspiration from the very popular indoor Dogwood collection. The most noticeable similarity are the table tops; the indoor version is wood while the outdoor version took a mold of that top and developed it into a Faux Wood top. These Faux Wood dining and occasional table tops have the depth and detailing of the indoor table while being able to withstand the outdoor elements.


Each collection has the following product offerings:
Dining Arm Chair, Swivel Dining Chair, 54” Round Dining Table, 84” Rectangle Dining Table, Lounge Chair, Swivel Lounge Chair, Ottoman, Glider, Sofa, Coffee Table, End Table, Adjustable Chaise Lounge and 54” Fire Pit Chat Table. Additionally, by special request from Ms. Deen, there is also a Rocking Chair in both collections; the ultimate Southern staple in furniture. Both collections have two Sunbrella fabric choices. A lumbar throw pillow is included with the Rocking Chair and two square throw pillows are included with each Sofa.

Both River House and Dogwood are available as direct import from China immediately or from Sunvillas’ domestic distribution center in Houston, TX starting in November. You can see both collections in person at the Universal Furniture Showroom at the upcoming High Point Market.
