Seahawk Designs Unveils Two New Storage Bases At Las Vegas Market

Seahawk Designs Inc., creators of the patented STO-A-WAY® mattress foundation reported that it will show its new “Casual Elegance” collection at the Summer Las Vegas Market, July 30 – August 3.

Two new storage bed bases will debut in the Casual Elegance collection – the “Manhattan” and “Newport.” Designed to add both style and storage space to the bedroom, both models feature Seahawk Designs’ interchangeable platform storage system and upholstered headboards.

The Manhattan model touts a sophisticated, contemporary design with a tufted, upholstered headboard. For a more traditional design aesthetic, the Newport features a camelback upholstered headboard, bordered with high-dome upholstery nails in an antique brass finish.

Both models are available with either two or four over-sized, full extension drawers placed at either the sides or foot of the bed, providing ample storage space. The headboards are also available for sale separately, with or without drawers, and are designed to fit on a metal frame. Consumers can choose from either a charcoal brown or cream linen color fabric, both of which are gender-neutral adding to the bed’s versatility.

The Casual Elegance collection is part of Seahawk Designs’ new 2/4 display program. The 2/4 display vignette is suitable for both mattress and furniture stores as it allows retailers to expand their product offerings while using minimal floor space. With just two beds displayed in the 2/4 program, retailers can show several storage and bed options all in one space.

The Casual Elegance collection can offer as much storage as an additional chest in the bedroom, without taking up any additional space in the room. All systems offer state-of-the-art features including touch latch drawers and an anti-jam shield, allowing users to maximize their additional storage space. Crafted with fully lacquered English dovetailed drawers and full extension side mounted ball-bearing drawer glides, all STO-A-WAY products are individually crafted and benefit from the highest quality workmanship.

Seahawk Designs will show the Casual Elegance collection in the Classic Sleep showroom located on the ninth floor of Building B in space B-0970 at the Las Vegas Market. The suggested retail price is $599 - $799 in queen.
