Bear, a direct-to-consumer retailer of mattresses, pillows and sleep accessories, recently announced that it has partnered with Good Sports, a youth sports charity. Bear will donate 1% of all net proceeds to the organization, which is devoted to bringing new sports and fitness equipment to kids most in need across the United States.
“A percentage of Bear’s proceeds will be donated to Good Sports, allowing more children to partake in sports and fitness opportunities,” said Scott Paladini, CEO and founder of Bear. “Bear was founded with an athletic ethos, and we're big believers in the idea that every child deserves the chance to benefit from the proven physical, social and emotional advantages that youth sports provide.”
Good Sports provides new athletic equipment, apparel and footwear to teams and organizations most in need. Through generous donations from corporate supporters like Bear, Good Sports has helped more than four million youth athletes across all 50 states receive the tools they need to get back in the game.
“The Bear team understands the positive impact that athletics have on our children,” said Melissa Harper, CEO, Good Sports. “They are the ideal brand to help further the Good Sports mission, and their generous commitment will get more sports equipment into the hands of youth in need.
