Chris Clarizio And DMCCF To Be Honored At GMFA Dinner and Dance In November

The Greater Metropolitan Home Furnishings Association (GMFA) announced that Chris Clarizio and the Dean Michal Clarizio Cancer Foundation have been chosen to receive the Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association’s Jerry Gans Memorial Award.
Retailers, manufacturers, representatives and industry suppliers will gather for this annual event, a festive kick-off to the holiday season on November 18th at The Palisadium, Cliffside Park, NJ, just minutes from the George Washington Bridge.
”This award is truly an honor.” Said Clarizio. “The Jerry Gans Memorial Award has been given to some amazing honorees over they years. To be recognized with this award for the work done by my brother Dean’s Foundation is very special. The Dean Michael Clarizio Cancer Foundation will always appreciate the continued support it receives from the GMFA.”
GMFA Board Member Tony Bellarosa notes, “I am proud that my friend and partner Chris Clarizio is being honored for his service to the furniture industry. Chris is the president of the Dean Michael Clarizio Foundation, in honor of his older bother, Dean. The foundation assists families with the financial challenges typically associated with cancer. The foundation has also been the cornerstone of the Metropolitan Furnishings Association annual golf outing. This will be a great evening for our industry, friends of Klaussner Furniture and the Clarizio family.
