Norwalk Furniture to Debut Customizable Upholstered Bed Program at Spring 2018 High Point Market

Norwalk Furniture recently announced that it will add a customizable upholstered bed program to its product line at the Spring High Point Market. The Twilight Bed Program provides consumers with the ability to design their own custom upholstered beds with a selection of bed size, type, style, height, upholstery treatments and choice of more than 800 fabrics, 150 leathers and a dozen nail head options. With the various choices available, consumers can create over 1,150 customizable looks.

“Our existing single-style upholstered beds as well as our ‘Build Your Own’ sofa and sectional programs have been quite successful at retail, as the customization of nearly everything continues to trend with consumers,” said Caroline Hipple, president of Norwalk Furniture. “So, we thought expanding our custom capabilities into upholstered beds was a natural extension of our product line.

“Our dealers will also benefit from the program, as we have designed a retail fixture to creatively display the product options in a very small retail footprint, which helps them to maximize their ROI in the collection,” she continued.

The Twilight Bed Program includes a choice of headboard only, platform bed or regular bed configurations in twin, full, queen, king and California king sizes. Four headboard designs are available, including Straight, Crescent, Elegant and Camel in 56-, 63- or 70-inch heights. Headboard panel upholstery treatments include plain, square button tufted, square buttonless tufted and diamond button tufted. Six unique border embellishment options are also available to further customize the look, ranging from borderless to small or large nail head trims to border welts with single or double nail head details. Consumers can almost infinitely customize their looks beyond the selections of the program with a choice of more than 800 fabrics, 150 leathers and a dozen nail head finish and size options.
