Powell will be hosting a 50th Golden Anniversary Cocktail Party at High Point Market on Friday, April 13, 2018.

Powell Home Fashions recently announced that it is celebrating its Golden Anniversary in 2018. A major supplier of popular furniture, Powell was founded in 1968 by Larry Powell. Over the past 50 years, the Powell business has grown to include top-selling items, multiple brands, overseas offices and powerful domestic distribu-tion capability — all with the help of incredible partnerships with customers and suppliers. “The last 50 years have given us plenty of reasons to celebrate,” said Jim Ziozis, Powell CEO. “Our industry has progressed over the past 50 years in all areas, including fashion, quality, and service to our consumers. The 50th Celebration

To honor the occasion, Powell will be hosting a 50th Golden Anniversary Cocktail Party on Friday, April 13, 2018. The event will take place from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. in their High Point Showroom located in the National Furniture Mart Building, 100 S. Main St. The celebration will include hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and music. All friends of Powell from the past 50 years are invited to attend. To kickstart the next 50 years, the company will be offering many “golden” specials for customers to take advantage of throughout the market.
