Louisville's Crosley Brands adds Karen Ferry to Special Markets Furniture Team

Crosley Brands recently announced that Karen Ferry has jouned the Louisville-based Crosley Brands.

Born and raised in Louisville, Ky., Ferry is the latest to join the team at Crosley Brands. Ferry has taken on the role of Director of Marketing and Sales for Crosley’s Special Markets furniture division.

After commuting back and forth between Louisville and Atlanta in her last job, Ferry has happily settled back in on familiar Kentucky turf.

“I’ve always lived in Louisville,” said Ferry. “Most recently I’ve been commuting back and forth between Louisville and Atlanta. I’m happy to be getting settled back in my hometown. The Atlanta traffic was a bit much for me, and Louisville is such a great city.”

Ferry will be helping develop the newer Special Markets furniture division in an effort to grow revenue by leveraging Crosley Brands products company-wide.

“I’ve spent the majority of my career in a sales and marketing role in the print and promotional industry,” she said. “Before joining Crosley Special Markets, I worked with a great company as an Account Executive at Preferred Marketing Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Papa John’s International, so I feel like I’m well-suited for my new role at Crosley.”

Ferry’s love for sales, marketing and printing reaches way back.

“I was born into a family of lithographers. I guess you could say I have ink in my blood. My dream of being a veterinarian turned into ‘I love sales, marketing and printing.’ My work history started with my father at Merrick Printing Company on the weekends and any time I had a day off of school. Between going to school and extracurricular activities, I learned any and every job they needed help with…bindery, prepress, estimating and customer service. Whatever it takes to get the job done.

“I’m so happy to join the Crosley family and looking forward to being a part of ‘Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.’ “

Outside of her career, Ferry keeps busy with a variety of interests and hobbies.

“I believe in giving back. I’ve always wanted to start a unique, reputable charity to help our youth and those in need. They just need love, guidance and an opportunity.

“I’m a health and fitness fanatic. I love animals, travel, cooking, entertaining and most importantly, family and friends. I’m also a pretty good baker. Looking forward to sharing some of my baking skills with my new friends and family at Crosley. The holidays are going to be extra special this year.”
