CIFF Post Show Report

CIFF, The China International Furniture Fair announced that in the face of the global economic crisis, the March CIFF 2009 show held concurrently with seven vertical shows under one roof was a great success.

The total exhibition scale was enlarged to 500,000 SQM (4.5 milllion sq.ft.) and hosted 2,621 domestic and overseas exhibitors. The show attracted 136,310 buyers of which 32,922 were overseas buyers from 160 countries, and 103,388 were domestic buyers.

Overall, buyer attendance was at the same level as 2008, with 3.1% growth in domestic visitors and 11.8% decline in their overseas counterparts.

According to feedback from CIFF's satisfaction survey, exhibitors reported being  pleased with the show which exceeded expectations overall.
