MMPI Announces High Point Staff Additions & Promotions

MMPI announced two additions to the leasing team at its properties in High Point, NC, as well as the promotions of two long-time employees in High Point who have made immeasurable gains during their tenure with MMPI.
Brian C. Bunch has joined MMPI’s High Point leasing team as Assistant General Manager and Vice President of Sales. Bunch comes to MMPI from Beljen Mills, Inc. where he served as President and Owner for over 10 years. In that role, Bunch managed finance, production, accounting operations, as well as overseeing a nationwide sales team. In his new role with MMPI, Bunch will use his extensive home furnishings expertise and strong industry ties to oversee and lead the MMPI High Point sales team.
Jim Gooding has also joined the leasing team in High Point as Vice President of Sales. With nearly 30 years of experience in the home furnishings and textiles industry, Gooding joins MMPI from Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, where he worked as a specialty account manager. In that role, Gooding managed the catalog and decorative jobber business of Glen Raven’s Sunbrella brand. Gooding will be responsible for leasing permanent showrooms throughout MMPI’s High Point properties.
Additionally, Steve Johnson has been promoted to Vice President – Administration and Assistant General Manager. Johnson has been with MMPI for more than eight years, and has assisted in nearly every facet of MMPI’s High Point properties - from administration to operations to marketing to leasing.
Finally, Paul Sperano has been promoted to Director of Operations. Sperano has been a valuable member of the MMPI High Point operations team since he joined the company in 1999. In his new role, Sperano will be managing all of the operational aspects of the six buildings in High Point and will be the key point person for maintenance, materials management, security, housekeeping, construction, tradeshows, grounds and budget preparation.
