More Space Place Franchise Reaches 43 Store Milestone

In five quick years, the More Space Place® Franchise System announced that it has over doubled in total number of stores to it’s current 43 operating units – four new strategically placed franchised stores are also now under development. Clark William, President of the company said, “For the past five years we have continually reinvested in ourselves, especially our products and manufacturing capacity; we have literally twice rethought and modified our store level operating model. We have moved eons from where we were,” He further commented, “The economy has had a tremendous impact on the Furniture Industry, we all know this, but we are positioned well and see this as the opportune time to grow.” The More Space Place franchise now has four new stores under various stages of development and is anticipating adding another ten to that number before year end. “We intentionally slowed down our rate of expansion about three years ago, before the troubles with the economy really hit. There is a great opportunity out there for us, we are starting to approach some competing stores (and chains) to join us,” says Marty Juarez, VP of Franchising. Within the last year the franchisor has also added two former Competitors to their Management Team. More Space Place is the Nation’s largest wall bed retailer, and carries other products like custom closets, home offices, media centers, and organizational systems for utility rooms, pantries and garages. The Stores offer cutting-edge design technology that allows customers to preview what their rooms or closets will look like with the 75,000 piece More Space Place product line. To support the extensive product line, More Space Place Store Operators have design, ordering, installation and accounting software.
