C.R. Laine Names New Vice President

Distinctive furniture manufacturer C.R. Laine has added the veteran marketing talents of Smith Sharpe to their team, naming him the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Sharpe fills the position vacated recently by Dan Hall. Responsibilities of Sharpe's new position at C.R. Laine include formulating marketing plans to provide volume growth initiatives and bolster sales performance for the multi-national resource to the furniture industry. Hickory based C.R. Laine designs and manufactures luxurious upholstered furnishings for the discerning, value-minded furniture buyer. Mr. Sharpe is leaving the position of Administrative Director of Marketing and Planning at Frye Regional Medical Center to join C. R. Laine. "It is a great benefit for our company to add Mr. Sharpe to our team," explained C.E. (Sonny) Roseman, President and CEO. Smith Sharpe is a native of Greensboro. He, his wife and two children have been residents of Hickory for eight years.
