Leda Furniture announced that it has appointed Gregory James to their newly created position of Director of Business Development. This position will oversee Leda’s Office Contract division.
James, a 20-plus year veteran in the contract industry, has extensive experience in the Hospitality and Office furnishings markets and will help Leda in it’s pursuit of increased visibility in the contract furnishings marketplace.
James will work closely with Leda President Marco L. Confalone on expanding Leda’s market exposure in the contract sector.
Along with James’ immediate responsibility to oversee the sales team and Leda’s participation at the recent June NeoCon market, he will be responsible for the development of three new price books, one for Leda’s office casegoods, another for their conference and boardroom tables, plus a third for government standing offer.
James will also be involved in a new brochure Leda is publishing for their boardroom tables, media casegoods and common area casegoods.
James states that “Leda will continue to create innovative product lines with design attributes that are unique to Leda. We have received excellent design input from American and Italian Design firms and we feel we have very strong design statements that are transitional to contemporary in orientation.”
“We are very excited with James joining our team and are confident that his capabilities will help us to continue offering the office furniture community timely designs and service they desire,” states Confalone.
