Associated Global Systems (AGS) announced that it has expanded its residential delivery service, which delivers any weight and size to any residential address in America, with additional service options.
This service, AGS Home Delivery, is ideal for companies who sell and ship products directly to consumers, require a single carrier for transportation and final mile delivery, and the flexibility to meet any residential customer's requirements. AGS Home Delivery already offers four on site services including threshold or inside placement of products, unpackingand removal of debris, and assembly either in the customer's home or in an AGS warehouse prior to delivery and has added these new services:
For furniture clients, AGS now offers a white glove service that includes furniture setup and installation to the room of choice and removal of all debris upon completion.
Scott Richter, V.P. of Global Supply Chain Solutions for AGS, states that, "AGS Home Delivery is the most flexible in the country, with delivery times between Monday and Saturday and up to 10:00 p.m. Companies can also specify four levels of service time, Overnight, Two Day, Three Day or Deferred, from any origin in the U.S."
AGS has over 50 warehouse sites around the country that are available to customers for storage of products prior to delivery, or for those pending appointment deliveries. These facilities are also available to customers to use for inventory or as regional distribution centers.
