3PD Named To Three National Publications' Top Lists

One of the furniture industry’s largest last-mile delivery companies announced that it is making a repeat appearance on several national publications’  “best of” industry lists this summer.

“We’re proud to announce that 3PD has been named an Inbound Logistics Top 100 3PL and a Transport Topics Top 100 For-Hire Carrier for the third consecutive year -- and that we’ve once again been featured in Commercial Carrier Journal’s list of Top 250 Carriers,” said 3PD CEO Karl Meyer.   “It’s a huge honor to make even one of these highly competitive lists, so making all three feels especially gratifying – especially when you consider that each is based on very different criteria.” 

Inbound Logistics compiles its Top 100 list from readers’ write-in votes, each of which rates a company’s service quality as well as its ability to help businesses address global supply and logistics challenges.  The magazine receives hundreds of nominations for the list each year, and fewer than one in four nominees ultimately are selected.

Transport Topics compiles its list based on companies’ annual gross revenues.  And Commercial Carrier Journal based its selections on a combination of companies’ annual revenues, fleet size and number of drivers.
