Walmart.com announced that it has added nearly one million new items including furniture to its online product assortment with the launch of "Walmart Marketplace," a new program that gives customers more choices at Walmart.com (www.walmart.com). Walmart Marketplace enables a select group of retailers to offer additional products at Walmart.com, providing customers more selection and added convenience.
Walmart Marketplace further expanded its online assortment with new products and top brands within some of the most popular online categories, including Home Furnishings. In addition, the program offers the added convenience of purchasing from select retailers known for their customer service and large selection. Walmart.com carefully chose these specific retailers based on their strong customer service track records and large assortments of quality brands and products. Also, Walmart.com will continue to grow the Walmart Marketplace program with additional retailers over the next year.
Current Walmart Marketplace retailers for the home includes CSN Stores (www.csnstores.com).

Customers can find the expanded assortment online at Walmart.com beginning today. As an added convenience for customers, all purchases from a Walmart Marketplace retailer are managed through Walmart.com's trusted and secure checkout process. The Walmart Marketplace retailer will then manage and support the order, including shipping and handling, customer service, exchanges and returns.
In the coming months, Walmart.com will announce additional programs designed to further expand its online assortment for customers.
