SFC To Host DESIGNINGreen Roundtable In High Point

The Sustainable Furnishings council announced that it has secured the support of High Point’s International Home Furnishings Center in co-sponsoring a prominent designer roundtable discussion on Oct.19 in announcing a major consumer media effort to raise awareness and purchase interest in sustainable products.

Industry members are invited to join legendary fashion and furnishings designer Alexander Julian, award winning product designer and icon Vladimir Kagan, and award winning designer, author, and host of style network’s Dress My Nest, Thom Filicia, in a spirited discussion of the influence of sustainability in their work and for the future of our industry.

All are inaugural members of the Sustainable Furnishings Council’s new DESIGNINGreen Leadership Team that will significantly increase attention to this critical subject. Free to all market attendees. Reservations not required. Arrive early for seating.
