MMPI announced that Shoehorn Furnishings is opening a new showroom in Plaza Suites, Suite 1-531. Shoehorn Furnishings will be opening its showroom just in time for the October Market (October 17-22, 2009), offering buyers even more resources and products to choose from this Fall.

Shoehorn Furnishings will be showcasing Smart Ideas for Small Spaces, a line of innovative multi-functional furniture. The company’s unique line of sleeper products is being placed with major retailers, national catalog firms and large Internet sites.

The company is also launching a newly expanded website which will feature a “Build Your Own” page, allowing customers to select their choices of arm styles and cushions in over 30 fabrics and order their customized product on-line. Fabric swatches may also be ordered and shipments can be made directly to the customer’s home.
Shoehorn has been recently selected as a finalist in the Innovate Illinois competition for 2009, a statewide competition recognizing innovative business concepts and products with high-growth potential. Currently Shoehorn has sales representatives covering 33 states and looks forward to adding to its sales team at the High Point Market.
