Furniture supplier AICO and founder/CEO Michael Amini have announced they will be collaborating designs with award-winning actress and celebrated artist Jane Seymour, to co-brand a new line of fine furniture. This co-branding is an industry first and the furniture collections will be unveiled to the public early next year.
The multi-award winning Seymour has had an extensive and diverse career as an actress, artist, author and designer. Her most recent design endeavor, the Open Hearts Collection for Sterling Jewelers has been met with much success in the retail market. In addition, Seymour is well known for her philanthropy and has dedicated time to numerous charitable causes including Childhelp, for which she is an International Ambassador, City Hearts and the American Red Cross where she sits on its Celebrity Cabinet of Advisors.
Amini is well known as an accomplished designer and innovator in the furniture industry, and has led his company for over 20 years. Specializing in opulent, traditional furniture, AICO has recently successfully expanded into more contemporary and transitional collections. Over the years Amini has contributed greatly to many charities, but none more dear to his heart than City of Hope, which recently opened the brand new Michael Amini Transfusion Medicine Center in Duarte, CA.
“I am looking forward to this collaboration with Jane, because she is truly a gifted artist, and I have always admired her work. I know that her talent will easily cross over into furniture designs,” said Amini. Seymour is also eager about beginning this new partnership. “Working with Michael and his company will be a wonderful opportunity, and I am excited about expanding my artistic visions to this medium.”
Already in the works for the new design collaboration, are three new collections, including a traditional collection, a casual European collection, and a Hollywood glamour collection. As well, several new Top of Bed designs will be introduced, creating the perfect complement to the bedroom sets.
