Dan Bradley, president of the Designer Brands Group of FurnitureBrands, announced that Todd Sessa has been appointed to the position of Vice President, Merchandising and Product Development for Henredon, Maitland-Smith and LaBarge, effective immediately.
Sessa is a 20-year veteran of the furniture industry and has held various positions within Henredon, including VP of Sales and VP of Ralph Lauren Merchandising. Most recently, Sessa was Henredon’s marketing representative in the New York area. As VP of Merchandising and Product Development, Sessa will be responsible for managing the development of each brands’ product lines, creating designs and a diverse product mix that support brand direction and customer needs. The product development and merchandising managers for the companies will report to Sessa. Sales, analytics and marketing functions for the companies will report to Jeff Arthur, VP of Marketing and Sales.
“Todd has been an important part of our organization for many years -- he understands the unique assets of Henredon, Maitland-Smith and LaBarge,” said Bradley. “This new structure will help us leverage the strengths of the companies, while maintaining the individual identity and strategic direction of each brand.”
Sessa holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary, and a Bachelor of Science from Bentley College. He has recently relocated to High Point, NC.
