Jaymer/ Interior Logic Completes Restructuring. New Executive Management Team Primed for Synergistic Acquisitions

Interior Logic, a holding group that comprises Terrebonne, Quebec-based Jaymar Furniture Company, ULC, and Los Angeles-based Lazar Industries, LLC, announced that it has completed a restructuring resulting in the appointment of key executives. The new Interior Logic management team consists of CEO Barry J. Lazar, COO Guy Patenaude, CFO Bruno Mathieu, Executive Vice President Stacy Marillo, and Director of Marketing Gary Zuckerman. Separate management teams will remain in place at Jaymar and Lazar. As part of the restructuring, however, Marillo will assume the presidency of Lazar Industries, a position previously held by Barry Lazar, and he will continue on as Lazar’s CEO. "Each one of the companies has unique strengths, and our goal is to synthesize the capabilities of both to create better profit opportunities for our dealers," explains Lazar. "Our strategy includes the acquisition of other companies that can add both regional shipping points and market share advantages. Interior Logic was established in 1999 as a holding company with the mission of building a family of compatible furniture-manufacturing operations. As part of Interior Logic’s formation, River Associates, LLC, a leading private equity firm located in Chattanooga, Tenn., became an investor in the company. In addition to River Associates, Interior Logic’s shareholders include members of management.
