Designer and Furniture manufacturer Abbyson Living announced that it recently embraced social media website Twitter.com to engage with fans.
Abbyson Living communicates with fans via Twitter by tweeting new product designs, images, functionalities, and demo videos to streamline information to the follower base in real time.
Abbyson Living also utilizes the micro-blogging website as a catalyst to create a direct link between social media and customer engagement. Abbyson Living doesn’t just broadcast messages, but are consistently responding to a countless questions on product information, design, and even corporate initiatives. Abbyson Living gathers the feedback, and produces products that retailers would like to sell.
One collection in specific, the Bacara entertainment unit, was recently designed and launched in December of 2009 given the recommendations and feedback from Abbyson Living’s follower base.
