Gunlocke Announces Key Organizational Changes

Gunlocke, an industry leader in high-end casegoods and seating, recently announced several key organizational changes. They include the appointment of Jim Foster to vice president, finance; the promotion of Jason Wolfanger to director, product management and development; the hiring of Arelis Caban as a web designer and Michael Lewis as a supply quality manager. The announcements were made by Don Mead, president of Gunlocke.
 
Jim Foster will be responsible for providing overall finance and accounting leadership as well as supporting the execution of Gunlocke’s strategic priorities. In addition, he will oversee all accounting and reporting processes and financial analysis throughout the organization.  Prior to joining Gunlocke, Foster served as the supply chain controller for the HON Company. His professional experience also includes holding various accounting and finance management and staff positions at the Ford Motor Company.
 
In his new role as director, product management and development, Jason Wolfanger will now be responsible for the development and engineering of all Gunlocke products. He will continue to ensure the company delivers superior quality, cost and design throughout existing and new product lines.  Wolfanger has been employed with Gunlocke for 12 years, where he most recently served as group product business manager.  He graduated from Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y. in 1996 with a degree in business administration and a concentration in marketing.
 
Arelis Caban accepted the position of web designer.  She will be responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of Gunlocke’s Web and Intranet sites, ensuring that brand continuity is maintained throughout each.  Prior to joining Gunlocke, Caban worked for Victory2 Multimedia as a web designer/art director. She also held a web designer position with Emmis Communications, as well as an art director position at The Creative Think Tank Agency.
 
Michael Lewis joins Gunlocke as a supply quality manager.  In this role he is responsible for the improvement and development of Gunlocke suppliers to ensure the highest quality materials.  He will work with suppliers and analyze their processes to improve quality and reduce lead times.  Lewis worked for The Timken Company before joining Gunlocke as a sales engineering specialist.  He has a degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University.
