Philipp Selva, President and CEO of Selva Company, announced the appointment of Carlo Moro of their Premium Retail Division, as Sales Manager for the U.S. Market.
The position, formally held by Mike Herren, entails maintaining existing customer relationships, while encouraging new ones in the U.S. Market.
Moro, a graduate of the University of Venice where he majored in Business Management, has worked in the furniture industry for many years prior to his career with Selva, which began in 2004. During this time, his chief focus has been the business development of various markets such as the Middle Eastern Market, where he set up Selva’s Dubai branch as well as, today, playing a key role in the expansion of the Philipp Selva Home brand and all Premium Retail Business.
According to company president and CEO, Philipp Selva, Selva’s committment to the U.S. Market remains true.
“My and my father’s vision (company founder Joseph Selva) is for the sun to rise as it is setting on a piece of handcrafted furniture from Selva (in essence that the company have a strong international presence). The U.S. Market is an integral part of that vision,” says Selva.
Selva also comments on the commitment and security Mike Herren ensured the company during his tenure as U.S. Sales Manager.
“Commendably, during a challenging economic time, Mike Herren,
committed to a three year tenure of leading the U.S. Market. During which, his commitment ensured Selva’s growth and more greatly secured our U.S. position,” states Selva.
Though Carlo resides in Italy, he will visit the U.S. frequently in order to work with customers and Sales Representatives and will attend the High Point Markets. Mike Herren will resume a post in Italy in the company’s prominent contract division.
