STORIS Management Systems, a leading supplier of Retail Solutions and Services for Big Ticket retailers, announced the launch of Release 8.7, the latest version of STORIS’ highly successful Windows-based product Vision R8. This dynamic release provides retailers with the ability to run a leaner enterprise, and includes advanced enhancements designed to maximize the customers' shopping experience.

R8.7 includes highlights to the powerful eSTORIS product. This fully integrated eCommerce platform offers the following features: Create Product Reviews/Ratings, Auto-Move to Clearance Web Category, and the Icovia Room Planner. Retailers will also benefit from the Credit Application product, which is integrated with STORIS’ credit reporting capabilities to
reference credit reports and scores.
Retailers will be optimizing their purchasing decisions with the new Merchandising features, including the ability to classify merchandise as “marked down” for clearance or promotional purposes, as well as indicating discontinued products and individual markdown prices at specific locations.
Lastly, STORIS received its PCI PA-DSS certification on January 6, 2010. As a result of this certification R8.7 now resides on the List of Validated Payment Applications by the PCI Security Standards Council, LLC.
