New Handheld Percussive Massager Combines Massage with WarmAir Technology

Interactive Health, the company that created the Robotic Massage, is heating up the industry again. This month, the world will be introduced to the first "massager with a hot temper," as Interactive Health unveils its WarmAir‘ Percussive Handheld Massager, the first massager ever to combine the benefits of massage with a soothing flow of warm air. "Our new handheld massager exemplifies our commitment to developing and perfecting massage products that not only feel good but are good for you," said Interactive Health CEO Carolyn Perrier. "This portable, lightweight unit delivers an effective deep muscle massage as warm air flows out simultaneously around the massage nodes. The WarmAir‘ Percussive Massager is available in two models. In both, maximum temperature is reached within 15 seconds and spans 15 square inches of skin and muscle, compared to the one square inch covered with other heating methods. The warm air flow can be activated with or without the percussive-style "tapping" massage, while a convenient "hot button" feature delivers a burst of even warmer air. The WarmAir‘ 300 unit, which will be sold at department stores, has two speeds and two heat cycles. It will retail for $79.99. The WarmAir‘ 600 unit, which will be available at The Sharper Image, Brookstone and other specialty retailers, has an LED read-out, four speeds, one program for more power, and a rubberized grip for added comfort. It will retail for $149.99. In both models the balanced, mid-motor design and comfort grip allow for easy handling. The incorporation of new Warm-Air Technology‘ into Interactive Health’s already successful line of percussive massagers is expected to rejuvenate the market. Retailers who carry the new massager will receive "very powerful impact marketing collateral" for in-store presentations, including innovative packaging and Point-of-Purchase display unit, said Perrier.
