Spirit Sleep announced that it is relocating its showroom from the Plaza Suites to the IHFC for the upcoming October Market. The self-styled "innovators of world-class sleep products" will move into the IHFC's Main Wing on the 5th floor, space M514. The company is planning the introduction of six new Memory Foam Mattresses at the October Furniture Market.
Founded just four years ago in 2006, the Asheville, NC-based company has established a distinctive place in the bedding ranks with a unique Memory Foam product line that includes a patented hybrid center support layer. This Visco Latex support layer consists of memory foam combined with latex foam. Spirit Sleep Bedding doesn’t stop there. This innovative company incorporates Full Edge Support, Green Tea, Active Charcoal, and Silver Science as well as Bio Foam with Castor Oil in each of their mattresses. Spirit Sleep offers a variety of memory foam pillows in different sizes as well as two types of Steel Bases which take the place of a traditional foundation and frame. With innovative shipping methods like mattresses that are compressed, rolled and can ship by the truckload, partial truckload or one piece at a time by any standard carrier and from a selection of Distribution Centers, Spirit Sleep is carving out market share in a competitive category.
President and CEO Michael Cianciarulo said of the move to the IHFC, "We see it as critical to our short-term and long-term strategies. Short-term, of course, we expect the increased traffic that the IHFC provides will produce sales. Long-term, our brand awareness among buyers in the bedding category is greatly enhanced by being in the company of so many other great brands in the category. The IHFC is very strong in that regard."
The IHFC has more than 30 bedding showrooms, including the Sleep Center in the Main Wing's fifth and sixth floors where many of the largest brands are located for easy-to-shop convenience.
